1. Share age proof from Gataca App

The user confirms sharing their legal age credential in the app with just one tap. The credential is never shared with the site.

2. Access granted or denied

Independent from your site

The one time identity verification and subsequent age check happens outside your platform. You only receive an access decision (granted or denied). No personal data, age, or birth date is shared.

No data retention

Personal data is encrypted during processing and deleted immediately after verification. Nothing is stored.

Digital credentials use advanced cryptography to ensure integrity, authenticity, and tamper resistance.

ID Wallets Beyond Age Verification

The Gataca App is a digital identity wallet that allows users to store and share verified credentials across any service that supports ID wallets, not just Amie.

Under EU regulation eIDAS 2.0 (EU 2024/1183), all EU member states will provide citizens with digital identity wallets by the end of 2026.

Public services — and many private platforms — will be required to accept them.

This means ID wallets will quickly become familiar to users and expected as a standard way for identity verification and verify attributes like age.
